Lee Allen, a native of Northwest Georgia, leads Simply Admissions with a deep commitment to helping parents and students navigate the college admissions process. After earning Risk Management & Insurance and Sport Management degrees from the University of Georgia, Lee excelled as an IT Project Manager. His company quickly recognized his unmatched work ethic and careful attention to detail, honoring him as Project Manager of the Year. Although he was advancing rapidly in his position, Lee's passion for coaching and educating led him to a rewarding second career as a high school mathematics teacher, where he was named Teacher of the Year for his school and the entirety of Gwinnett County Public Schools, out of over 12,000 educators.
Lee is a firm believer in lifelong learning and has consistently pursued advanced degrees and certifications in various fields, including curriculum and instruction, teacher leadership, secondary math, ESOL, and gifted instruction. Currently, he is further augmenting his qualifications with a Certificate in Independent Educational Consulting from the University of California, Irvine. Lee's driving force is to demystify the college admissions process for students and parents, equipping them with the knowledge and confidence to make informed educational decisions and unlock their full potential.
When not strategizing college plans, Lee is a trivia enthusiast and an avid Atlanta Hawks fan. He also enjoys golf, basketball, and learning about the mysteries of the universe. He lives outside Athens, GA, with his wife, Mia, and their two children, enjoying community sports and coaching little league sports.
